Personal profile

About

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University, Michigan. Before joining Kettering, I completed my postdoctoral training as a Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada.

I hold two PhD degrees—one in Mechanical Engineering and the other in Environmental Engineering—which provide me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation to address complex research challenges in energy and sustainability. My research expertise focuses on sustainable energy innovations, including electrochemical energy storage, decarbonization, and nanofibrous energy materials.
