Over twenty five years of diverse supply chain, business systems and processes, and technical/engineering experience coupled with graduate engineering and business education. Emphasis in recent years has been on global project/program management along with dealer and supplier development and logistics operations. Proven success at exceeding business goals by leveraging technology, process realignment, vendor management, and cost optimization. Experienced in business process reengineering using lean methods and managing operational and organizational change using six sigma techniques. Initial five years of career spent in operations management in the petroleum industry on offshore oil drilling rigs. In addition I have ten years of teaching experience at the graduate and undergraduate level course both online and face-to-face. I have taught courses ranging from operations management, lean and six sigma courses, knowledge management, strategy,

organizational behavior, managing across cultures and leadership courses. I have mentored over 100 MBA Capstone students.

Transformative learning is the essence of adult education. Transformative learners tend to move toward a frame of reference that is inclusive, discriminating, reflective, and integrative of experience. An environment that encourages collaboration and is student centered and faculty are in a mode of sharing and learning from each other is essential for transformation. Teaching and learning are critical to our individual and collective survival and to the quality of our lives. Transforming education will not happen if we fail to cherish and challenge the human heart that is the source of good teaching. Life’s great journey is one of self-discovery and self-reflection. These two processes provide knowledge, support, and conviction that arouse the curiosity further.
