Dr. Gawarecki expects students to develop curiosity and understanding about the surrounding world, ability to
formulate, and analyze problems with no obvious or conflicting solutions, skills for using data and sound
statistical and calculus methods, and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams (engineering, science,
and business majors.) He integrates elements of Entrepreneurially Minded Learning (EML), Active and
Collaborative Learning (ACL), and Project/Problem Based Learning (PBL).
