About

Dr. Huggins has research interests in computer science education, computing ethics, and formal methods for
specification of computing systems.

Dr. Huggins uses a wide variety of teaching techniques, adapting classroom sessions to the needs of his
students and the material being covered. Above all, he finds that what he says in the classroom is far less
important than what his students spend time doing, in and out of the classroom. He tries to create an
environment that encourages active engagement with the material at hand.
